Halloween nails 2: Spiders and stripes

Hello ladies,Happy Friday:) Today I have another Halloween nail art to show you. Again, something simple and pretty easy to do using just 3 colors.

Spiders and stripes was my inspiration for today. I used orange nail polish as a base (exept on my thumb where I used just a simple black polish). For the stripes and to draw a spider I used black nail art polish with a thin brush. The stripes haven't turned out quite as I wanted, but it's ok, I just need to practice some more :)
For the spider web and the eyes on my itsy bitsy spider I used white nail art polish. And thats it,not to complicated you just need a steady hand:)

That's all for today, hope you like it and maybe try it out:)
Enjoy your weekend:)

Halloween nails: Cat's eyes glow in the dark

Hello lovelies,I know I promised a few halloween nail art posts but I was very sick a few days, and kidney stones are no fun at all :( so I didnt even paint ma nails let alone did any nail art.But I am feeling good now and here is a quick and fun nail art I did last night:)

I saw a pic of cat's eyes nail art somewhere on line and I thought its perfect for Halloween. It's simple and quick to do and you don't need a ton of colors or tools to do it

I think it easy to do for beginners in nail art like myself,or if you want to decorate your nails for Halloween but don't want to go overboard:) I used just a basic black nail polish as a base (Yess Love brand),white nail art polish to draw the shape of the eye and lime color polish to color over the white (Yssy in number 143).To draw the line in the middle I also used the same black polish that I used as a base color.Finish with a top coat or any clear polish to make it more smooth and to add shine. And that's it:)

Hope you like it, I will try to do a few more posts on Halloween nail art.Would you want to see a non nail polish haul of some things I got last week (jewlery and stuff)?

NOTD: A touch of metal

Hi girls:) I am pretty bussy today so just a quick post to show you my freshly painted nails:)

Today I went for a version of french manicure with metalic and black combo:)

I painted my nails with "Yes Love" in number 8003. It is a very pretty antique gold with metalic finish, and for tips I just used black nail art polish with a thin brush.I find that french mani always looks nice and if you play with different colors it looks more fresh and modern:)

That's all for today, hope you like it:) From next week Halloween inspired nail art only,so if you have some good ideas on designs let me know, and I will try to recreate it (still practicing )

Matchy Make-up - Eyes,lips,cheeks and nails

Do you ever match your eyeshadow with your nail polish color?Or would you ever go a step further and match the color on your eyes, lips, cheeks and nails?
Have to admit that I always put my makeup and choose the colors by the mood I am at the moment (but in most cases I choose neutral colors cause its faster and somehow easier for day to day).If the color of my nail polish match the color my eye shadow usually its by pure coincidence, and I never thought that you can match all -lips,eyes,cheeks and nails- and that the end result would be good. (Most likely I had in mind dark smokey eye so just the thought of black or gray lips,or cheeks, didn't look pretty)
Tonight I found an interesting video by Lisa Eldridge (I just love her make up tutorials) that shows how you can do your matchy make-up and still look fresh, sexy and classy:)
Super cute, and I am going to try it for sure:)

Do you like this "trend"? Would you wear it?

Mini polish haul and some nail art :)

Hello lovely ladies, hope you are doing good:) Today just a quick post to show you my 3 new nail polish I got the other day,and some more nail art that I am still in process of practice:)

These are my newest additions to my modest nail polish collection. The brand is "Cliche" and the names of these babies are: "Inveja", "Metal" and "Khaki". I really like these polishes a lot, nice brush, easy and smooth application, nice shine. Just I noticed that some of the colors (not all) are not that pigmented, and sometimes it takes 3 coats to perfectly cover the nail, but a huge plus is that they dry pretty fast.In that case I don't mind 3 coats :p

Now I know the quality of the pics really suck, but it can give you the idea of how it looks like. The first one is just black nail polish base with some colorful polka dots. A quick tip: If you want to draw polka dots or (or something else) over a black polish first draw with white polish, wait a lil till it dryes and go over your design with the color of your choice. That way the colors will be vibrant and show as they are:)

The second one are gradient "animal print" nails.I used yellow, coral, pink and red polish applied with the sponge and then just draw the tiger or zebra lines on tops:)
Oh and not to forget, while I was buying the nail polish I couldn't resist and these came home with me:)

So,thats all for today, hope you like it:)
Enjoy the weekend

Stars are blind...Or...Get the look for less :)

Hello all:)Its a few minutes after ten,my son is still sleeping and I was inspired to write a new post :)
Unless you lived on another planet, you are most likely already familiar with "The Star" trend for Fall:)Its everywhere

Celebs are wearing the clothes with stars print everywhere from the red carpet and other events to day to day out and about
.
The brand that made 'boom" with stars print this Fall is Dolce & Gabanna, but there are other brands that are following. Dresses,pants,shoes,bags...you name it stars are everywhere.

Now,if you like this trend but don't have a fortune to spend on these "in" items,no problem:) Lot of high street brands like Mango and Zara have clothes and accessories with this cute print and for a really good price:) So weather you would wear it head to toe or just like an accessorie I am sure you can find something you like.
On the pics below you can see some of the afordable items I found and the price:

These jeans are one of my favorites :)

I am sure there are lots of other brands have something similar in their collection for Fall.

What do you think about this trend?Would you wear it?
